I like the idea of this, and I like the proposal to create runescape gold in match time limited. A season could go for a complete month, but restricted to a week of in game time or something (obviously flexible ). Osrs isn’t really the type of sport to hurry through and spend 20 hours each day to be”competitive”. The limited hours would benefit everybody, since there would be time for you to offline strategy rather than the DMM type of being actively doing something at all times, burning tons of people out fast. Good thought for recurring content overall, and for getting gamers to actively do something.
I visit a lot of people complaining here and I really do think our concerns are heard and they probably are working towards fixing these problems that we’ve got. However possible it might ease tensions if they said or reacted something about what’s in the works right now. I think RuneScape style is going to be an interesting experience and I am looking forward to it. I do have a few questions of my own which I Need to ask:
First off there’s hint of concern among individuals that their gains in RuneScape mode would be a reduction to their profits in the game mode. Can there be some type of reimbursement of profits given out at the end being half of the exp or something (assuming no dxp), similar to if darkman mode or anything that Rs3 mode was got shut down? I feel that this would induce more individuals to test RuneScape mode out, and would theis might be worthwhile for”hardcore 8hrs a day streamers” which is a large criticism.
Second will your ironman status move to RuneScape style? Third is it safe to say this is so a challenge against ourselves instead of against people? Finally will this be accessible to free to perform players as well as members? This may potentially be detrimental to RuneScape mode If folks are able to sell their bonds out of their principal account to efficiently buy currency for RuneScape mode.
I think they really shouldn’t and a good deal of people are concerned about these and clan man mode. Theres a different feel to a game in the very start, and of course that the changes from each league and must be fun whether or not you’re competing for number 1 or maybe not. Also it’s not like that is dmm using a 10k reward? They’re gont possess a clan of individuals spend hundreds of hours fostering someone so that person can find some decorative rewards and rank 1 on the highscores for a limited time? I really don’t think the motivation for fostering someone is as great as people are making it out to be.
I think the best way to market this as a new experience everyone can play and love (not only competitive clans), will be to produce a brand new continent for each season to happen on, or push in warding within a season, or earn a GW2, or add another combat style. Have new and significant content. The benefit of leagues is that this content does not have to be amazing balanced and focused on fitting into an existing economy because it’s a temp league (PoE takes advantage of that).
This manner meta is guaranteed to change and individuals would to buy osrs gold safe be hyped to go through the content that was temporary. PoE seasons work since there is new FRESH content everytime plus a brand new meta, not only a different meta; and though teams work hard to acquire first lvl 100, everybody still needs to play because they want to experience the new content themselves. Obviously the dev time investment could be insane.
